I was born and raised on the Atherton Tablelands near Cairns before moving to Cairns for schooling. There are not too many of us around anymore but being a true local makes me passionate about the area and the people in it.
I have been in the finance industry since 2004 working for a National Company in their Cairns office. In 2007 I saw the need for a brokerage in Cairns that focused on building a solid relationship with their clients and growing with them. We do not take the philosophy of getting you a loan and then leaving you alone, ongoing customer service is a high priority and will always be the cornerstone of the business.
During my years in lending I have gained experience in residential, commercial, business and equipment finance to service my clients on all levels. I believe this along with my personal passion for real estate and investing gives me a knowledge base that I can share. As an active property investor I enjoy working with fellow investors and sharing experiences and idea’s so we can all win together.
I am confident in our team that they will provide the highest level of service and always ensure that communication lines are open. I look forward to seeing our clients grow and succeed and feel grateful be being a part of it all.

I would like to consider myself a local, being born and raised in Innisfail, an hour south of Cairns. I first moved to Cairns in 1995 after finishing school, and lived here for around 5 years before taking a ‘tree change’ to live in Mackay. However the pull of the tropical far north was too strong and I retuned to Cairns in 2004 where I have firmly planted my feet and started raising my own little locals.
I started out in the finance industry back in 2005 when I was employed by a major bank as a teller. From this position I was able to fine tune my customer service skills and up skill my product knowledge to become a senior customer service specialist, where I was able to spend more time with my clients on a personal level, and helping them achieve their financial goals.
During the last couple of years with the bank, I increasingly felt that the goal posts had been moved away from customer service and more towards sales. This is when I knew it was time to leave. After a chance meeting with Jai, I knew that we shared the same focus on customer service and I was only too happy to join the team at Hobbs Financial Services.
My main role within the team is to keep you up to date on a regular basis and to help you with any questions you may have during the loan process from start to finish, to ensure a stress free and enjoyable experience.
